Refer-A-Friend

Hill Top Research conducts hundreds of studies each year requiring thousands of study participants. We are constantly seeking ways to enhance study participation and make it as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. Although we advertise some of our studies through newspapers, radio, television and special groups, the majority of our studies are filled with our experienced participants from our database who already belong to our Hill Top family.

How does the Refer-A-Friend program work?

We invite you to encourage your friends and family members to contact us for more information about our studies.  Once you are in our database, if your friend chooses to participate in a study, meets the enrollment criteria and completes the study, we will send you a check for up to $15 as a token of our appreciation.  There is no limit to the number of people whom you can refer.

How do I qualify for the Refer-A-Friend program?

Simply tell friends and family about Hill Top Research.  When they call the Study Information Center to register and pre-qualify for a study, they just need to provide your name to the Study Information Specialist.  The Specialist will enter this information into the Hill Top system. At the first study visit, your friend/relative must fill out a referral form which will initialize the referral process.

Who may I refer?

Your referral must be a new participant.  A new participant:

  • may be a friend or relative (not a dependant child)
  • has never participated in a Hill Top study before, and
  • has given your name to our staff when being recruited for his/her first study.

How do I receive payment for the Refer-A-Friend program?

The Refer-A-Friend payments will be mailed within a month of the study's completion.  You will receive your check if your friend has completed the study and all requirements for eligibility have been met.  If you have any questions concerning this program, please contact the Study Information Center at 800-874-7550.
